i had to put cyndi down today. she was attacked by lucy when i left in the bathroom and when i took her in to be checked the vet discovered what was probably cancer and she was in some bad pain so when the estimate got up to 2500 i had to make the decision. lucy is the black dog who attacked cyndi today. other than this they got along just fine their whole lives. The bites were survivable.
These photos were from November 4, 2004. Cyndi was very happy. We called her the tap dancer because she would bounce back and forth from one foot to the other when she was really excited or happy about something. this leaves me with seven dogs and several are older, two i've had for 15 years so I'm sure I will be dealing with this again in the near future.
She was a sweet sweet little dog. she wouldnt ever have hurt anything and it saddens me greatly that she had to spend a few of her last hours alive fighting off another dog, three times her size, biting her throat and her ears, when she couldn't even bite down on her food due to some dental problem over the last week that I was going to take care of tomorrow and had made arrangements, plus due to a body injury before I got her, when she was still on the streets that caused her to always guard her neck and stomach, any movement would have caused her severe pain. There was no way she could fight back. i'm so sorry for her. love, n
p.s. lucy is very suspicious of the camera. : ) She is a very good hearted dog who almost lost her life at the pound years ago.
